Please mark your calendar and make sure you
note that the class time is Pacific (CA) Time.
It is in your best interest to prepare a brief introduction of
yourself before the teleclass. Think about where you want to take the most constructive actions in
your life. Our teleclassses provide an honest, gentle forum to
achieve your purpose.
Here are our teleclass etiquette guidelines. Please print them and post
nearby during your class.
1. Schedule one full hour of uninterrupted time to
participate in the telephone call. You want to be fully "present"
so that you can relax and focus.
2. Choose the best place for yourself. (This is not
the right time to do housework or pay your bills!)
3. Use your telephone mute button if available.
Radio, TV, background music, dogs barking, etc.
distract others on the call. If you
don't have a mute button, don't worry, just call
from a very quiet location.
4. Please disable the "call-waiting" feature on your
telephone line. Before dialing in to the teleclass,
simply dial *70. After you hang up, your call-waiting
feature automatically resumes operation.
5. Please DO NOT USE SPEAKERPHONES. Speakerphones
do NOT work when broadcasting to a group.
6. Your instuctor may ask for you to share or respond
during the call. Wait with comments until you've
been prompted with a question, or invited to offer
your opinion.
When you share, please say: "Mary, this is John."
The instructor will respond by saying, "Yes John,
go ahead." Then share whatever you like. Please keep comments
as short as possible (to allow others to be included).
Make sure your comments are as constructive as possible.
Your instructor will optimize the pace to suit the group.
7. Audio taping is not permitted in our teleclasses.
8. Cordless phones and headsets usually work
well for a teleclass. If you or others hear recurring static,
we will need to resolve the issue.
9. Please minimize cross-talk between class members,
as it interrupts the instructor and the flow of the class.
10. Call in precisely at the top of the hour. If you
call too early, the phone will ring until a second person
calls, which then opens up the line. If you must
leave the class early, please notify the instructor.
Hanging up is not courteous, and is equivalent
to walking out of the class.
Come prepared to enjoy yourself. It's time to optimize your life!
