How to Choose an Optimal Thinking Coach

I’m often asked how to choose an Optimal Thinking coach, so I thought I’d put it in writing. There are basically three types of Optimal Thinking coaches:

1. Optimal Thinking Executive Coach

An Optimal Thinking Executive Coach serves professionals within large and mid-size corporations. We also serve emerging leaders in small businesses. Our executive coaches specialize in maximizing leadership skill development, strategic thinking, productivity, interpersonal communications, and performance management. We are also skilled in optimizing organizational savvy, team coaching, and executive presence.

C-suite executives serve as a voice for the company and must embody the organization’s vision, values and culture. C-level executives must think in terms of the success of the company with a focus on external issues. There is no room for favoritism when seeking advice and support from colleagues and direct reports.

Your coach serves as an objective sounding board, and equips you with best practices to deal with critical challenges as they arise. As a result of the consistent deployment of Optimal Thinking, you develop optimum leadership and management skills that have immediate, lasting and optimum impact.

Coaches often work on needs uncovered via our 360-degree (mulit-rater) review. These assessments are conducted by our coach or your company. Optimal Thinking Executive Coaches provide inspiration, encouragement, and motivation to execute your most crucial priorities and objectives.

Executive coaching often focuses on the best outcomes that can be attained within six months. With a focus on the most important goals, executive coaching is structured to achieve optimum results in a minimum amount of time. As you achieve the outcomes, you can extend the executive coaching relationship by identifying other areas where executive coaching will best benefit you.

Executive coaching sessions in Los Angeles, onsite, video conference, or telephone occur weekly or bi-weekly.  Meetings usually last for 60 minutes. More intensive schedules include two and three hour sessions or day-long “shadowing” by the coach.

2. Optimal Thinking Career Coach

An Optimal Thinking Career Coach typically works with unemployed executives actively seeking employment, working executives who are contemplating a career change, or those negotiating a job with a new company.  The coach helps the executive transition to their next role — defining your skill set and your most important criteria, defining your target organizations/industries, guiding alignment while optimizing marketing efforts and job interviews.

Your career coach provides support, feedback and direction to maximize the effectiveness of each strategy.  Career coaching is delivered one-on-one and via group coaching sessions. Optimal Thinking career coaches work with you in-person, via video conference or telephone.

3. Optimal Thinking Life Coach

An Optimal Thinking Life Coach works with you in all areas of your life to best achieve your personal goals. The life coach often deals with maximizing relationships and personal development.  Sometimes sessions focus on retirement, speaking, recovery, education, life purpose, and  goals achievement. Optimal Thinking life coaches are not therapists, because we focus on maximizing present challenges rather than examining the past.

Optimal Thinking Life Coaching also explores how to best resolve your self-limiting core beliefs. Our life coaching provides optimum structure to achieve your most important goals. You develop the action plan that defines your most important goals and the best steps to achieve them. You explore and implement the optimum strategies to overcome the obstacles in your path.

Optimal Thinking life coaching empowers you to put your best self in charge, experience the highest and fullest expression of yourself, and live your best life.
