Los Angeles, September 1, 2001 – Move over Dr. Norman Vincent Peale, Optimal Thinking has become the successor to positive thinking. Created by Dr. Rosalene Glickman, recipient of the “Woman of the Year” award for National Business Women’s Week in Hollywood, and repeatedly honored by the media as “Australia’s Most Successful Woman,” Optimal Thinking empowers us to achieve the best results in every circumstance.
Dr. Glickman’s book, Optimal Thinking: How To Enjoy the Best Life Has To Offer was Simon & Schuster Australia’s best-selling book of the year. In a recent interview, Dr. Glickman said: “After sixteen years of research, I concluded that positive thinking is dangerous and often no more than wishful thinking. Optimal Thinking is not optimism – it is optimal realism.”
Optimal Thinking empowers us to make the most of our thinking. It provides us with the mental tool to maximize any situation with minimal effort, to put to rest the “could haves” and “should haves” once and for all. We learn how to ask the best questions, obtain the best solutions and make the most constructive decisions, regardless of our circumstances. In short, Optimal Thinking empowers us to give life our best shot!
Many famous people are embracing Optimal Thinking. President Clinton declared: “I believe the purpose of politics is to give people the tools to make the most of their own lives.” After eight years of unprecedented economic expansion in the U.S., Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan is still committed to his main objective, “to achieve maximum sustainable economic growth.” On her TV program “You Can Do Anything,” Oprah Winfrey, television’s most successful talk show host, stated: “Doing the best makes you the most noticed and puts you in the best possible place for the next opportunity. That’s my view on success.”
Dr. Glickman, who lives in Los Angeles, was born in Australia. She has earned a Ph.D. in psychology, a diploma in teaching and another degree in business administration. Dr. Glickman is president of The World Academy of Personal Development Inc., a management consulting firm in Beverly Hills, California. Her clients include Warner Bros., Mercedes-Benz, California State University (Department of Management), National Australia Bank, American Business Women’s Association, Mary Kay Cosmetics, and Mensa. As a result of Optimal Thinking, she was nominated for special recognition by Queen Elizabeth II for Australia’s highest award, The Order of Australia.
Dr. Glickman is currently available for media interviews.
