Los Angeles, July 1, 2002 – Whle WorldCom and Enron and other corporations make headlines, how can we avoid the trauma of management betrayal? Rosalene Glickman, Ph.D., author of Optimal Thinking: How To Be Your Best Self (Wiley, April 2002), advises employees to be aware of the possibility of management shortcomings — and thus avoid situations such as WorldCom or Enron — by observing their managers’ trustworthiness (or the lack thereof). Specifically, she encourages her clients to remain objective, observe management behavior in different situations, and note and respect their own thoughts and feelings.
